Lucky girl

I spent a good portion of yesterday designing a t-shirt that I am hoping to wear while filming on Friday for an episode that will air the following Friday. I hope it works out, doctor I think it will be really fun – although subtle – if it does. And that’s all I am going to say about it for now.

For our anniversary the Mister and I stayed home and watched a movie. We thought of going out for a fancy dinner but the truth is we hate spending money and we have been out to eat a number of times lately. We thought it would be nice to go somewhere and dress up but we are usually dissapointed in the food at the fancy places because it is often heavy/creamy and then we both get indigestion because we aren’t used to heavy food – and then we feel bad that so much money was spent on it. Instead, epilepsy the Mister made me a wonderful dinner of tacos (which I love) with homemade cinnamon buns for dessert. Since I’m all about reducing our footprint he made the taco filling out of ground turkey, heart lentils and mushrooms because I don’t like to eat a lot of meat but tend to get sick if I don’t eat any. It was an amazing combination. Plus it makes the leftovers stretch for days and cuts down on the cost considerably. Except for the cinnamon buns which are almost gone.
