This is me goofing around after dinner tonight. The horizontal stripes don’t really help with the wideness.*
Neither does the poncho but what can you do? Amazingly enough, esophagitis the only article of maternity clothing I’m wearing is the striped shirt. However, I cut my toenails today and realized that was probably the last time I would be able to do that on my own for a while.
I’m reading Ina May Gaskin‘s Guide to Childbirth and am feeling really inspired and strong these days. Any luck the doctor who is delivering the Wrackspurt has read it too? More and more I wish I was just doing this at home.
After weeks of dryness it finally snowed today – all day. The roads were terrible, I had planned on going to my parents’ place but turned around before I got too far. I probably would have braved the weather if they were actually at their place but since both they and the dogs are nice and warm in Florida I didn’t think it was worth it. I spent the rest of the day knitting and drinking tea and hanging out with the Mister and our friend Jeremy instead of getting anything done. Tomorrow…
*I really shouldn’t post such crappy quality photos but the camera I’m using right now isn’t very good and posts with out photos are kind of boring.
